You will learn, experience, and perform approximately 25 therapies and techniques that you can perform on yourself and others. This training will help you increase your sensitivity to gemstone energies, while deepening your understanding of how therapeutic gemstones work. A profound and illuminating experience, this course is designed to meet the needs of both health practitioners and lay people. Workshops are held at Still Meadow Community, a retreat facility situated on 60 acres of forest and meadow near Portland, Oregon. With its year-round running creek, hiking trails, and sauna, Still Meadow provides a rustic and nurturing atmosphere. Workshop Instructors Dr. Ada González Stergion is a licensed naturopathic physician who specializes in primary family care and gemstone energy medicine. She practices at Golden Heart Center for Wellness, a premier alternative medical care center in Portland, Oregon. She received her medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, her Masters degree from Yale University and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. For the last 12 years she has been working in the field of energy medicine as a complement to holistic health care and wellness. She is an international speaker and works with Olympic athletes and celebrities. Her approach emphasizes the body’s ability to recover from stress and other obstacles in healing. She has been interviewed by 20/20, ABC News, USA Today, Redbook, Organic Style, and the Portland Tribune, as a medical expert in the field of energy medicine. Other Gemisphere Workshops Foundation Workshop Therapeutic Gemstones: Healing Body, Mind and Spirit Advanced Workshops Physical Healing and Rejuvenation Certificate of Completion Following the workshop, you will receive a certificate stating that you have satisfactorily completed the workshop. Workshop Program Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 5:00 PM, and the first evening session will run from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Thereafter, sessions will run from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with lunch and dinner breaks. On the final day, we will begin at 9:00 AM and end at approximately 3:30 PM. Please note: If you need to purchase gemstone tools prior to the first evening session, plan to arrive by 4:00 PM. Prerequisites Attendance at an Introductory Workshop Attendance at the Foundation Workshop or any of Gemisphere’s previous Introductory Workshops is a prerequisite for this advanced workshop. A one-day Foundation Workshop will be offered immediately before the Emotional and Karmic Healing Workshop to accommodate people who may have missed our previous introductory workshops. Reading Before attending the workshop, all participants are required to read the following pages in the book Gemstone Energy Medicine: Healing Body, Mind and Spirit, by Michael Katz.
